Hi ya'll...
I just went to Alexa.com. I don't know much about how is works or anything like that. So I could have read this all wrong. Please correct me if I did. But, we have only had therxforum.com on its own dedicated server for about a month now. Unless I am reading this wrong (which will not be the first or last time), our forum traffic rant is 2,994th for today !!
!

If I read this right. I would like to thank
all of you posters, gamblers, offshore gambling mavens, derilicts, whores, shills, movers, feds, bookmakers, linesmen, clerks, drug addicts, horny HIP memebers, freaks, friends, bum (who else am i missing?) who have made this possible...

But more importantly we would like to continue improve this site...

what more can we do?
PLease please help me improve the site

Alexa is a good ranking tool. It is a partnership between Google and Amazon. No one really knows how those rankings work. I think they base it on how many people who have the Alexa toolbar installed visit your website. I believe the Alexa toolbar automatically comes bundled with the Opera browser which is why some people have it.

In other words, the more people that have Alexa on their computers that visit your site, the better your ranking.

It is a pretty good indicator of web traffic as a whole, and The Rx clearly gets some excellent numbers.

I will say that the Alexa ranking is not perfect though. I administrate two websites. The one that is ranked better actually gets fewer unique visitors by my own website traffic numbers. In other words, Alexa has my two sites ranked backwards.

Either way, it is a pretty nifty tool.

One thing to note with Alexa, it does track the users surfing habits and compiles that information for Goodle and Amazon. It is a form of "spyware" but that doesn't bother me. I use it anyway.

Forumrankings has the RX at 39th in the ALL forum category...MW was 63rd. Nice rankings on best parties.

ps- Sex sites grab 8 of the top 10 spots.

I second Intuition Bet's comments.

A lot of the stories on the main page, are, IMO, a detriment to the site and actually degrade it. To be honest, I have to say that the stories USED to be that way since I hardly ever go there anymore to read them, but comments I see in the offshore lead me to believe that not much has changed and that the articles continue (of course there can be exceptions) to be poorly written and fact-challenged.
